Traditional Copper Use

Copper is an essential mineral for the human body and has been used in vessels and cookware for centuries. In India, storing water in copper vessels is a traditional Ayurvedic practice.

Copper water bottles are appreciated for their traditional use, distinctive appearance and timeless craftsmanship. They are a beautiful way to incorporate a traditional Indian ritual into your daily routine.

Care & Cleaning

Do:

* Add lemon juice and a small amount of salt to the bottle.

* Fill approximately half of the bottle with hot water.

* Leave for 15–20 minutes.

* Shake gently, then rinse thoroughly with water 2–3 times.

* Clean the inside approximately once a week, or as needed.

Don’t:

* Do not use a scrubber, abrasive materials or harsh chemicals on the bottle, as these may damage the copper surface.

* Do not place the bottle in a freezer or microwave.

* Follow the specific care instructions supplied with your bottle.

Note: Natural patina may develop on copper over time. This is a natural characteristic of the material.
